Churchy

I don't want to only do posts about church, but thought I would share.....

My current calling (or assignment) at church is to be with the kids in the nursery. I like kids and hanging out with them, but some days I feel like going to church to learn or feel spiritually refreshed is a lesson in futility. Sunday, some of the young men in the ward came in to be with the kids so I had the chance to sit in a meeting and soak it in. The teacher showed this clip and I just about bawled my eyes out.

"Embrace this day with an enthusiastic welcome,
no matter how it looks."

"Put all frustrations, hurt feelings, and grumblings into the perspective of your eternal hope.

"The pain of sacrifice lasts only one moment.

I watched it again today. It still moves me.
